Two-part workshop on MS Excel for Basic Data and Investment Analysis

Hope you had a great Chinese Lunar New Year! To kick start the Year of the Golden Rabbit, the SIM IT Club and Investment & Networking Club have come together to hold a workshop on Microsoft Excel for Basic Data and Investment Analysis. If you have always wondered if you could evaluate your finances with the ubiquitous MS Excel, this workshop is for you!
*Please register for the workshop using the Students' Portal:
- Log in to the Students' Portal Home,
- scroll to the bottom of the page, and click CCA
- on the new pop-up page, click Registration of Activity
- for CCA Type, pick Special Interest. Under Club Name pick IT Club 2011
- click SEARCH
- check the checkbox in the Register Now column, then click REGISTER
- there should now be a pop-up alert that asks 'Do you wish to register for the selected Activity/Activities?' Click OK
Alternatively, you may email us your NRIC/FIN and we will complete the registration for you. But do note that when seats are running out, those who register on their own will get priority placement.
Once you are successfully registered, you will receive a notification email at your school email address.
During the workshop we will be using some Excel add-ins. Please check that you have the add-ins installed. Click on the links provided for installation instructions on MS Excel 2007:
Payment will be collected at the door at the first workshop.
